Who I Am
I'm Kerry Nehil, a brand designer living and working on Kauaʻi. I have spent over two decades working across a wide range of design disciplines, including brand identity, digital products, print, and content creation. My mission is to design brands that are clear, comprehensive, and built to last. I collaborate closely with my clients to turn their ideas into visual systems that people connect with and remember.
When I'm not designing, you'll find me paddling, running, or exploring the island with my dog Nintendo.

In this phase we take a close look at your business, your goals, and the people you serve. Through conversation, research, and structured exercises, we uncover what makes your business meaningful and where it has the most potential to grow.
Direction
Define a clear strategy and creative vision
With a strong understanding of your business, I translate insights into a clear strategic direction. This includes defining your positioning, messaging, and the overall creative approach that will guide the visual approach.
Design
Craft distinctive and cohesive brand components
I develop the core elements that shape how your business appears in the world, including your brand identity, website, social campaigns, print collateral, and supporting visual system.

In this phase we expand across the key places your business shows up, such as your website, packaging, social campaigns, and marketing materials.

Are you a real person?
Yes, known formally as Kerry Nehil, I’m a designer with two decades of experience across branding, print, product, and marketing.
Born in Michigan, 15 years in San Francisco, and 5 years on Kaua‘i. After making the move to Kaua‘i, I found a passion for helping the local community and businesses, and so Kaua‘i Kerry was launched.
Where are you located?
Kalaheo, Hawai‘i. Living on Kaua‘i means when I collaborate with local clients, I can provide my expertise on a personal, community focused level. For those outside of Hawai‘i, I have the tools to collaborate remotely and the project success is not limited by distance.

Booking a discovery call is a chance to get to know each other and for me to learn about your goals and vision. There’s no obligation and no pressure. I want to understand if we’re the right fit and set expectations before either of us commits to anything.
What steps are involved in a successful project?
After an initial discovery call, the project scope, goals, and timeline are clearly defined. From there the research, strategy, design, and deployment phases follow. I wrote a blog post that goes into more detail.
How long will my project take?
Every project is unique in scope. At the beginning of a project we will identify key milestones. In order to ensure the most successful outcome, a large amount of time and energy is put into each phase of the process. An approximate timeframe is:
- Brand identity 6–8 weeks
- Website design and development 4 weeks
- Brand extensions 2–4 weeks
How much does it cost?
Brand identity starts at a $3,800 investment. This is not a template package. It is a strategic collaboration and a professional brand foundation you can confidently extend to collateral, and digital channels. it includes:
- Brand strategy and positioning
- Visual identity system
- Launch and rollout support
